Warning signs look different at different ages, so the questions change too.
Before you start, know this: no screener is 100% accurate, and before about 2nd grade many of these behaviors are developmentally normal. Only a qualified evaluator — a school psychologist or an independent evaluator — can diagnose dyslexia. This screener is a first step to help you decide whether it's time to talk to one. And remember: a formal diagnosis is not required to request classroom support from your school.
